It seems the verdict is still out on whether cell phone radiation can be linked to the formation of brain tumors.

In a story posted to enzymeexperts.com just before the end of 2007, Britain’s The Daily Mirror gave 31 health tips for 2008, one of these recommending that people cut down on cell phone use. The Mirror cites research that found a 240 percent increase in brain tumor risk for those that used cell phones heavily.

At the same time, a mid-December Newsweek story points out that numerous studies have found no correlation between cancer and cell phones in short-term studies, most of which were three to five years. However, longer-term studies have found that using a cell phone for an hour each day over a 10-year period can increase the risk of a rare tumor, according to Newsweek.

In a 2003 study, university-based researchers in Turkey investigated how the low-intensity electromagnetic radiation from cell phones affected rats. The researchers found that rats treated with ginko biloba did not experience the oxidative damage to brain tissues observed in rats that didn’t get the herb.

BioSET™ Brain and the WellZymes™ Mental Focus™ product contain ginkgo biloba leaf extract along with several other herbs and the enzyme blend pHysioProtease.™ Both protect the brain from oxidative damage and support focus, learning and memory retention.
