The Sept. 10 issue of Chiropractic Economics has an excellent feature story on Dr. Carl S. Cleveland III, president of Cleveland Chiropractic College (CCC).
It's a great summary of his life and ancestry, and it does a thorough job examining the college's campuses in Overland Park, Kan., and Los Angeles. Here are some highlights:
- CCC is the only chiropractic school under the leadership of a pioneering family member.
- The Los Angeles campus has undergone multimillion-dollar upgrades in the past few years.
- In 2008, the Kansas City, Mo., campus relocated to a 175,000 square-foot complex in Overland Park.
- The college's chiropractic program capacity is 1,100 students.
If you are a Chiropractic Economics subscriber, check out the story on page 32. If not, the feature should be available digitally at www.chiroeco.com in the coming weeks.
On a related note, U.S. News & World Report recently placed Overland Park among the top 10 best places to grow up in America. Read that story here.
